. Emergency Message Relay .
Members may send and receive emergency messages to and from relatives, friends, and business associates toll-free, 24 hours a day through the multilingual staff of the Assistance Center.
. Emergency Travel Accommodation and Transportation Arrangements .
Members can receive assistance with travel arrangements when their prearranged bookings present problems, when an emergency arises and changes must be made, or when tickets have been lost or stolen. The Assistance Center will contact hotels, airlines, car rental companies or any other travel related organization to assist the Member.
. Emergency Cash Advances .
The Assistance Center will advance Members up to US $250 (with appropriate repayment guarantees.)
. Telephone Interpretation .
Members can receive assistance with foreign language interpretation over the telephone when they are having difficulty communicating.
. Translator and Interpreter Referrals .
The Assistance Center will provide contact information for translators and interpreters in the area where the Member is experiencing communication problems which cannot be solved via telephone. The Member is responsible for the selection and payment of the translator or interpreter.
. Assistance with Recovering Lost of Stolen Items .
When a Member has had luggage, documents, or personal items lost or stolen, the Assistance Center will attempt to recover the items by contacting the appropriate parties. The Assistance Center will advise the Member of its efforts as the search takes place.
